Text Box:         PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT THE MUSICAL is closing so catch this feel good show for one last time.  Catch the bus and see Ray Meagher(Alf Stewart from Home and Away) come over and close the show.   Based on the hit film, PRISCILLA tells the story of Tick , Bernadette  and Adam, a glamorous Sydney-based performing trio (2 drag artists and a transexual!) that agree to take their show to the middle of the Australian outback. Priscilla is the heart-warming, uplifting adventure of three friends who hop aboard a battered old bus (nicknamed Priscilla) searching for love and friendship and end up finding more than they could ever have dreamed.   With a dazzling array of outrageous costumes and featuring a score of dance-floor classics. This wildly fresh and funny new musical is a sensational journey to the heart of fabulous.  See for yourself…    Hop on board!   Click here for a preview video   Cast   Richard Grieve (Tick/Mitzi) - Most people will recognise Richard from Emmerdale where he played Johnny Foster.  He has also played Sam Kratz in Neighbours and Dr Lachlan Frazer in Home & Away.  He is also not new to theatre having appeared in many productions in both Australia and the UK.     Don Gallagher (Bernadette) - Appeared as Roger de Bris in The Producers (Theatre Royal, Drury Lane) and in His Dark Materials and Stuff Happens (NT), Piaf (Crucible, Sheffield) and spent several years at the RSC in productions including Henry IV Parts 1 & 2, Back to Methuselah, Painter of Dishonour, Richard III, The Winter’s Tale, a world tour of Columbus and Sybil. His early West End career included the role of Javert in Les Misérables (Palace) and Pierre in Martin Guerre (Prince Edward).  Also many tv appearances.   Oliver Thornton (Adam/Felicia) - Oliver is one of the original members of the cast.  He has played many roles including: Mark in William Baker’s revival of Rent (Duke of York’s), Raoul in The Phantom of the Opera (Her Majesty’s), Enjolras in Les Misérables (Palace and Queen’s), Harrison in Chicago (Adelphi) and Rusty in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Starlight Express (UK tour and Bochum, Germany).   Ray Meagher (Bob) - Best known for playing Alf Stewart in Home and Away, Ray has played Bob in both Australia and also for a short run in the West End.  He returns to Priscilla to close the show with a bang.             Tickets I have tickets for the show in rows N, O and P of the Stalls.   Where: Palace Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue, London, United Kingdom, W1D 5AY                  When: Saturday 3rd December, 2:30pm              Price: £45.00.  (Usually  £65 plus booking fee)  I'll need full payment needed by Thursday 18th August to secure your ticket.   If you'd like to see the show, please let me know as soon as possible.
